Atlus unhappily announces "Persona 3" remake & "Persona 5 Tactica" too early

June 10, 2023
It is rare if developers leak their games themselves before the official announcement. But that's exactly what happened to the Japanese studio Atlus (again) recently, which, among other things, unveiled a remake of the role-playing classic Persona 3 .
After the rumors of a revelation thickened, Atlus has now accidentally confirmed the remake itself. The PR team in charge released the official reveal trailer for the remake, titled Persona 3 Reload, on Instagram a little early. Of course, the trailer has since been taken offline again. But the community was faster and published it on Twitter.

According to the trailer , Persona 3 Reload will be released in early 2024 for Xbox consoles and PC. However, it is not excluded that the remake will also be released for other consoles.
Unfortunately, the trailer does not reveal in detail which technical and gameplay improvements the remake will offer. However, more information on this will be announced as part of the Xbox Games Showcase next Sunday. According to reports, the game mechanics should be based on current series offshoots such as Persona 5 Royal .
In addition, Atlus also revealed Persona 5 Tactica , a turn-based tactics game starring the Phantom Thieves in chibi mode. The game will launch on November 17, 2023 .
