peppermint anime releases Reincarnated as a Sword on Blu-ray

Today, peppermint anime announced during its AKIBAPASS CLUBHOUSE livestream that it is releasing the 12-part first season of Reincarnated as a Sword on disc. Only nine months after the broadcast in Japan, fans can now look forward to the disc release.
Reincarnated as a Sword is expected to be released on Blu-ray from September 22, 2023 with German and Japanese voice overs in two volumes as an HD Keep Case with O-Card. More details on the planned disc release will follow at a later date.
During the early bird phase, both volumes can already be purchased in the AKIBA PASS Shop at a special price and an exclusive, free pre-order goodie. The early bird phase ends on June 14, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. There is also a collector's slipcase that you are guaranteed to be able to secure for a small surcharge during the early bird phase.
Reincarnated as a Sword is based on the light novel series of the same name by Yuu Tanaka, which has been published in Japan since July 2016. The first season was produced by Studio C2C, directed by Shinji Ishihira, and aired from October to December 2022 with twelve episodes. After the season one finale, a second season was announced, but no further information is available as of now.
In Germany, all episodes are available in the original language with English subtitles on HIDIVE and with German subtitles on AKIBA PASS TV and on the prime channel aniverse .

A nameless sword awakens in a world of monsters and magic to find that it can remember a past human life, but not its name. As an intelligent weapon, it can conveniently use telekinesis to move around the new environment and uses it immediately to learn and level up a few skills. But his true adventure begins when he meets the taciturn slave girl Fran, who only wants one thing: to become stronger and to be the first of the Black Cat race to evolve!
