Nintendo announces Nintendo Live 2023 in Seattle

Things are going well for Nintendo right now, with the Super Mario movie breaking records (read our review here ) and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is about to be released. Nintendo uses the wave of attention and officially announced Nintendo Live 2023 . We tell you everything that is known about it so far.
Nintendo Live 2023 is set to be a major live event from the publisher and will take place September 1-4, 2023 at the Seattle Convention Center in Washington. There was also a Nintendo Live last year, back then when Nintendo's home country of Japan was the venue. This year, too, visitors can expect a colorful stage program, gaming tournaments, exclusive merch and much more. The event is intended for all ages and offers visitors the opportunity to try out the latest Nintendo titles themselves.

Are there tickets for »Nintendo Live 2023«?
If you are now wondering where and when you can buy tickets for it, we unfortunately have to disappoint you twice:
- You cannot buy tickets. Interested visitors can only take part in a lottery procedure and, with a lot of luck, receive a ticket for one day. If the Los-Fee is loyal to the participants, they will receive the ticket for free. In order to be able to participate in the process, all you need is a free Nintendo Account. Those interested can register for the lottery on the official website .
- If you now think that you can try your luck to get one of the lots, we have to disappoint you a second time. According to the official Nintendo FAQ, only residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old can enter the competition. Maybe this is a misunderstanding and the regulations are still being changed, but at the moment these requirements probably apply to very few of you.
Nintendo definitely still has time to change that. Between May 31 and June 22, 2023, interested parties can try their luck and cast a lottery ticket. Until then, Nintendo could change the regulations.
