»Lonely Castle in the Mirror« is released by KSM Anime on disc

Today, KSM Anime announced that it has added new licenses to its portfolio of anime films. Among other things, the Wiesbaden-based anime label secured the rights to the fantasy anime Lonely Castle in the Mirror , which will soon be released on disc.
However, concrete details about the planned home video release of Lonely Castle in the Mirror are still pending. However, KSM Anime will reveal more information at a later date – we'll keep you posted.
Based on the novel of the same name by Mizuki Tsujimura, Lonely Castle in the Mirror is directed by Keiichi Hara at Studio A-1 Pictures. Miho Maruo wrote the script, while Keigo Sasaki served as character designer and chief animation director. Harumi Fuuki composed the music for the film.
The approximately two-hour evening filler celebrated its premiere in Japan on December 23, 2022 and took sixth place in the Japanese cinema charts on the first weekend. A five-part manga series by Tomo Taketomi was published by Shueisha between 2019 and 2022. In North America, Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series.

Seven Tokyo teenagers discover their bedroom mirrors are glowing and at a touch are drawn into a mysterious castle filled with winding staircases, thoughtful portraits and sparkling chandeliers. One of you gets a chance to grant a wish and you have to follow clues and find a hidden room. But if they don't leave the castle by five o'clock, they will be punished. Only those brave enough to share their stories will be saved.
