In March 2021, KAZÉ Anime (now Crunchyroll) announced that they have licensed the final season of Fairy Tail . The fans of the anime series were excited because the final season was eagerly awaited. But until today , Fairy Tail: Final Season has not yet reached the German market.

Awaiting new details on the planned disc release

Originally, the release of the first box of Fairy Tail: Final Season with episodes 1 to 26 (or 278 to 303 in the total count) was planned for June 3, 2021 on DVD and Blu-ray. But since then there has been no further information on the subject.

Crunchyroll, the Berlin anime label, was unable to provide any new details about the planned disc release in German-speaking countries, even when asked by ITweakIT. Therefore, it is not clear what the reasons are that the release of the final season is delayed. But one thing is certain: the announcement of the licensing was two years ago and fans are still eagerly awaiting the last episodes of Natsu, Lucy and Co.

Final season between 2018 and 2019 on Japanese TV

Aired on Japanese television from October 2018 to September 2019 , Fairy Tail: Final Season adapts the Alvarez Empire Arc . This was created again at the Bridge, A-1 Pictures and CloverWorks studios under the direction of director Shinji Ishihira.

KAZÉ Anime (now Crunchyroll) has already released the first two seasons on DVD and Blu-ray, complete with German and Japanese voice acting. The final season was then simulcast with English subtitles on Crunchyroll .

Fans are now eagerly awaiting news of the release of Fairy Tail 's final season on DVD and Blu-ray in Germany. When that will happen remains unclear. However, we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
