ProSieben MAXX will show the first film Wild Dance of Kyoto on March 31, 2023 at 10:10 p.m. with German dubbing. After the broadcast, the anime film can be accessed in the broadcaster's media library for a limited time. When the second film Warrior Spirit of the Blue Sky will be broadcast is not yet known.

Based on the Otome series of games , Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom is directed by Osamu Yamasaki at Studio Deen. The first film was released in Japan in 2013, before the second followed in 2014. In Germany, KSM Anime released both films on DVD and Blu-ray .
