Crunchyroll announced a lot of news about the home video offering today. Also among the announcements is the RomCom anime A Couple of Cuckoos , which will be released worldwide as a disc release.

The planned worldwide release of A Couple of Cuckoos is expected to be in summer 2023 on DVD and Blu-ray. According to the announcement, the 24-part series will be split into two "complete editions." Exact information on this is still pending and should follow in the near future.

SynergySP and Shin-Ei Animation studios produced A Couple of Cuckoos , which was co-directed by Hiroaki Akagi and Yoshiyuki Shirahata. In Japan, the RomCom anime ran on television from April to October 2022, while Crunchyroll showed it in Germany in simulcast and simuldub.

The anime is based on the manga series by Miki Yoshikawa, which has 15 volumes so far and has been published in Japan since January 2020. In Germany, the manga will be published by Carlsen Manga with a German translation.

Nagi was switched at birth. While on his way to meet his birth parents over dinner, he happens to bump into cheeky and outspoken Erika. She absolutely doesn't want to get married and declares Nagi her fake boyfriend. But not only were the two swapped babies, to make matters worse, they're now engaged! However, Nagi is in love with his classmate Segawa and Erika is determined to rebel against her father!
