Xiaomi does not stop bringing news to MIUI. Although the deployment of MIUI 14 is in full process , the company does not stop developing all kinds of functionalities in order to make it easier for us to find and open applications.

As we can read through MIUIes , Xiaomi has updated the MIUI Launcher incorporating a new way to find applications and open them quickly and easily. All this from the desktop itself.

New features for the MIUI Launcher

As in iOS, now we can search for applications on our smartphone or search the Internet simply by moving our finger from top to bottom on the desktop itself, without having to enter the application drawer.

In this way we can have a much clearer desktop, locating only those applications that we use the most on a day-to-day basis. If we need to open any other, simply by sliding the screen and typing 2 or 3 letters we will find the required application .

In summary, a functionality that, although it is not new in the smartphone sector, will make it much easier for us to interact with MIUI . Of course, this update will begin to arrive gradually and slowly to those Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones that still have support.
