New trailer for the 26th "Detective Conan" movie promises great excitement

A big new mission is soon waiting for the little master detectives too! Before the now 26th movie about Detective Conan celebrates its Japanese cinema premiere in April, a new trailer was recently released (see below). This also introduces the title song Utsukushii Hire by the Japanese band Spitz .

Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine will be released in Japanese cinemas on April 14, 2023 and is Conan Edogawa's 26th cinematic adventure. When a German cinema date can be expected is still in the stars.

The new feature film will be directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa at the TMS Entertainment studio, with the script by Takeharu Sakurai and the music by Yugo Kanno.

Detective Conan has been broadcast in Japan since January 1996 and currently includes more than 1,000 episodes, 25 films and various specials. The manga series by Gosho Aoyama has been published in Japan since 1994 with 102 volumes so far, with Egmont Manga publishing the mystery series in German. The TV series is releasing Crunchyroll (formerly KAZÉ anime) on DVD and, most recently, on Blu-ray for the first time.

This is what Detective Conan Movie 26 is about:

Conan and the Detective Boys were invited to the island of Hachijo-jima near Tokyo, where engineers from around the world gathered to study the operation of the "Pacific Buoy" – an offshore security camera installation linked to police forces around the world World is connected – to test in full.

While there, Conan and the others are contacted by Subaru Okiya, who informs them of a murder of a Europol operative in Germany by Jin of the Black Organization. Unnerved by this news, Conan sneaks into the facility and finds out that the engineer has been kidnapped by the Black Organization. The USB stick she was carrying is now in the possession of the organization – and Ai Haibara is also in danger.
