»Vinland Saga«: exact airtime of the second season known

The long-awaited second season of the Viking epic Vinland Saga starts tomorrow! In Germany, too, Crunchyroll and Netflix are two streaming providers showing the sequel in a simulcast, for which the exact broadcast time is now known.
The first episode of the second season of Vinland Saga is therefore available on Crunchyroll on January 9, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the original language with German subtitles. Details on the German synchro production will follow at a later date.
It is not yet clear when the start of season two will be available on Netflix in Germany. However, an article by ComingSoon reveals that the first episode will be available to stream on Netflix in the US from 3:00 a.m. ET. It can therefore be assumed that it will be available on Netflix in Germany at 9:00 a.m.
Unlike the 24-part first season, Vinland Saga – Season 2 is being produced by Studio MAPPA, which is being directed by Shuhei Yabuta. Hiroshi Seko is again in charge of the script, while Takahiko Abiru is contributing to the character design. The musical accompaniment comes from Yutaka Yamada.
The first season was based on the manga of the same name by Makoto Yukimura at WIT STUDIO and ran in Japan between July and December 2019. Crunchyroll (formerly KAZÉ Anime) secured the license and published Vinland Saga with German and Japanese voice overs on DVD and Blu-ray. Carlsen Verlag publishes the original manga series in this country in German (order here from Amazon).
