Boogiepop and Others is only available on Netflix until January
December 17, 2022
For a long time, anime fans have been able to enjoy the 18-part anime series Boogiepop and Others on Netflix. Now, almost two years later, the license is expiring, which is why the dark fantasy series will soon be removed from the catalog.
Boogiepop and Others is therefore only available on Netflix until January 10, 2023 with German dubbing and in the original Japanese sound with German subtitles.
The anime adaptation, based on Kōhei Kadono's light novel of the same name, was animated by Studio MADHOUSE and directed by Shingo Natsume. Tomohiro Suzuki wrote the screenplay, while Hidehike Sawada was responsible for the character designs.
Boogiepop and Others aired on Japanese TV between January and March 2019. AniMoon Publishing then published the anime series in Germany as a complete edition on DVD and Blu-ray.

This is what Boogiepop and Others is about:
There's an urban legend children tell each other… About a Shinigami who can put people out of the pain they're going through. This "angel of death" has a name: Boogiepop. The legend is true. Boogie pop really does exist. When several female students at Shinyo Academy go missing, the faculty and police think of teenage runaways first. But Nagi Kirima knows better. Something mysterious and criminal is afoot. Is it boogie pop or something even greater…?
