In August, the new feature film Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO was shown in German cinemas as part of the Crunchyroll Anime Night.

Crunchyroll has announced that it plans to release the film on disc in Spring 2023 . Further details, such as an exact date, are not yet known. If this changes, our site will of course report about it.

The German implementation was created in the Oxygen Sound Studios in Berlin, for which Sabine Winterfeldt both wrote the dialogue book and took over the dialogue direction.

The second anime film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise (21st film in the entire franchise) was directed by Tetsurou Kodama at the Toei Animation studio, with manga creator Akira Toriyama again being involved as a screenwriter and character designer. I n Japan, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO celebrated its world premiere on June 11, 2022.
