Xiaomi backs down and expands the list of devices that will benefit from the best of MIUI 14
On December 11, Xiaomi unveiled MIUI 14 , a new proposal that promises to improve the performance of our smartphones, not only in the higher-end ones, but in practically all those who receive this MIUI update .
In detail, we are talking about Photon Engine , a new application management system that MIUI 14 brings with it, being capable of speeding up the use and fluidity of third-party applications, in turn reducing their energy consumption , which at first was so it was only going to be compatible with certain devices.
Xiaomi backs down with MIUI 14 requirements
If we remember, MIUI 14 Photon Engine was only going to be compatible with those smartphones, Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, that had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Well, this has changed in the last few hours .

As we can read through ITHome , Xiaomi has backed down with its minimum requirement level to make use of the Photon Engine. Without further ado, and probably after numerous criticisms, the firm has stated that this MIUI technology will work on all those mobile devices that receive MIUI 14 .
In this way, the best of the news of MIUI 14 will be available on all those devices that receive this MIUI update, regardless of their hardware or the range to which they belong . Likewise, let's remember that to date MIUI 14 has only been confirmed for the following devices:
