The RomCom anime Tomo-chan Is a Girl! (Jap. Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko! ) including simulcast announced at Crunchyroll . Since then, the new series has been quiet. But now there are more specific details about the start of the broadcast.

It was announced on Twitter that the anime adaptation of Tomo-chan Is a Girl! will be broadcast in Japan from January 4, 2023 . At the same time, the RomCom anime is also scheduled to simulcast on Crunchyroll.

Along with this announcement, a new visual and trailer were released. The latter also introduces the ending song yurukuru＊love sung by voice actors Rie Takahashi (Tomo), Rina Hidaka (Misuzu) and Sally Amaki (Carol). The visual and trailer can be seen below in the article.

Tomo-chan Is a Girl! is directed by Hitoshi Nanba at Studio Lay-duce, with Megumi Shimizu serving as screenwriter. Character design is by Shiori Hiraiwa and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music for the series. Fumita Yanagida's Manga Series Tomo-chan Is a Girl! appeared between April 2015 and July 2019 on the Saizensen website and the Twi4 Twitter account. The series is considered complete with a total of eight volumes.
