This is what Black Clover is about:
In the small village of Hage, two babies who couldn't be more different are laid down in front of the church. Dark-haired Yuno grows up to be a level-headed, clever and good-looking boy, while blond boy Asta is a loud, energetic but good-hearted tomboy. Though he's probably the only one in the whole kingdom of Clover who doesn't possess magic, Asta's dream is to become the King of Mages. It doesn't bother him a bit that Yuno is all the more talented and defeats him mercilessly every time. Even as children, they vowed to be eternal rivals on their way to the throne of the mages. But first you have to pass the entrance exam for one of the magical orders of knights. The two of them set off for the capital of the kingdom and into an uncertain future.
