Galaxy S23 series: New leak provides information about batteries and cameras
More and more rumors about the new Galaxy S23 series are currently making the rounds on the Internet. Another leak on batteries and cameras suggests that only one Galaxy model will get a better battery.
The first render images of the devices have already revealed what the new Galaxy smartphones (S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra) will look like. According to the Dutch website Galaxyclub , everything should stay the same with the S23 and the S23 Ultra when it comes to battery life . Only the Galaxy S23+ could get a slight battery upgrade. According to Galaxyclub, the net capacity of the battery is 4,565 mAh. Samsung will officially name the size as 4,700 mAh. For comparison: The S22+ has a 4,500 mAh battery installed.
Ultra wide-angle camera probably unchanged
In addition to the slight battery upgrade in the Galaxy S23+, the cameras are rather disappointing. The ultra-wide-angle camera on the S23, S23+ and, in all likelihood, on the S23 Ultra should remain unchanged. Photos should therefore continue to be snapped with 12 megapixels.
The specs for the main camera on the Galaxy models are still unknown. According to Galaxyclub, at least the S23 Ultra could have a 200-megapixel sensor. Samsung should use either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or the Samsung Exynos 2300 for the processor. The new smartphones are to be presented in early January or February 2023.
