As part of a live stream in May this year, not only was a third season of KonoSuba announced , but also a spin-off series. The first trailer for KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World just released! , which also reveals more details about the anime adaptation. You can find the trailer below!
KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! should therefore celebrate its Japanese TV premiere in 2023. The adaptation is in the hands of Studio Drive, directed by Yujiro Abe, while Makoto Uezu returns as screenwriter and Koichi Kikuta as character designer.
KonoSuba writer Natsume Akatsuki and illustrator Kurone Mishima's spin-off series focuses on Megumin and takes place a year before the main series. KADOKAWA published KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! with five volumes from December 2016 to January 2018 in Japan.
