ATLUS, the makers of Shin Megami Tensei , Catherine and the Persona series, among others, released their new game Soul Hackers 2 today. The official sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. Appropriately, ATLUS published a launch trailer (see below).

The physical launch edition of Soul Hackers 2 for Xbox and PlayStation is available at select retailers for €59.99 . This version features premium premium character cards for fans. A digital version for PC is also available now.

This is what Soul Hackers 2 is about:

In the glow of neon lights, technological advancement causes people to be engulfed in commercial convenience. A secret war is brewing between the Yatagarasu and the Phantom Society , devil summoners who harness the otherworldly powers of the "demons."

In the secret sea of human data, a digital hivemind has evolved into a sentient being: Aion observes humanity from afar and calculates that a world-destroying catastrophe is imminent. Therefore, Aion creates the two agents Ringo and Figue to prevent this catastrophe.
