German cinema date of »Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO« is set & trailer

The announcement that the new blockbuster from the Dragon Ball franchise is also coming to cinemas in Germany caused joy among local fans. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll announced the German cinema release for Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO . In addition, a first German trailer and the German speaker cast were released (see below).
Crunchyroll is bringing Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO to numerous cinemas in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland on August 30, 2022 as part of Crunchyroll Anime Night 2022 . The new anime film will be shown on the big screen either in the original Japanese language with German subtitles or with a German soundtrack.
Official ticket sales will start on July 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. A few days before the regular cinema release, on August 24, 2022 at 8:00 p.m., the German premiere will take place in the Cinedom in Cologne.
Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO is Crunchyroll's first global film release, being distributed internationally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment in North and Latin America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East and Asia (excluding Japan).
The second anime film in the Dragon Ball Super franchise (21st film in the entire franchise) was directed by Tetsurou Kodama at the Toei Animation studio, with manga creator Akira Toriyama again being involved as a screenwriter and character designer. I n Japan, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO celebrated its world premiere on June 11, 2022.
For the German implementation, Crunchyroll commissioned Oxygen Sound Studios in Berlin, for which Sabine Winterfeldt both wrote the dialogue book and took over the dialogue direction.
