Ultimate Edition for »BELLE« also with a German soundtrack as an extra

About a month ago we reported that KSM Anime is also releasing the film BELLE as an Ultimate Edition with extensive extras. The desire of all fans for the German soundtrack as an extra was then loud, but has not yet been confirmed. Now the Wiesbaden anime label is letting the cat out of the bag!
As announced by KSM Anime, the German soundtrack (sung by Lara "Loft" Trautmann) will also be available as an extra. However, the CD will not accompany the Ultimate Edition for release on July 21, 2022.
In order to be able to guarantee the best possible quality, all songs are currently being mixed and finalized again in Japan. Instead, all pre-orders will receive the CD at a date that has not yet been announced without any further action being required.
The Ultimate Edition, limited to 4,444 Blu-rays and 555 DVDs, will be released as a foldable, highly refined hardcover box on July 21, 2022 exclusively in Anime Planet 's online shop and includes numerous extras in addition to the film, such as around six hours of bonus material with various interviews , behind-the-scenes shots and much more. The Blu-ray version includes a 4K UHD Blu-ray with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and even a Japanese soundtrack in Dolby Atmos 7.1.2.
Director Mamoru Hosoda, who also wrote the screenplay for BELLE , is known for films such as Ame & Yuki – The Wolf Children , The Girl Who Leapt Through Time or Summer Wars . BELLE was created at Studio Chizu, while Jin Kim was in charge of character design, which was animated by Hiroyuki Aoyama. The music was composed by Taisei Iwasaki.

17-year-old Suzu lives with her father in a rural town in Kochi Prefecture. When she was little, Suzu's mother died in an accident. She never got over this loss and for years she has only been a shadow of herself. One day she ends up in »U«, a virtual world in »Another Reality« with five billion users. There she is no longer Suzu but Belle, a world famous singer. In this virtual world, Belle encounters a mysterious dragon-like being who is feared in »U«.
