Mushoku Tensei Trailer Reveals Season 2 Timeline & Simulcast Announcement

Since the 23-episode first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation , fans of the Isekai anime have been eagerly awaiting a sequel. After a second season was announced in March, a new trailer was shown at this year's Anime Expo in Los Angeles, which also reveals the launch period.

The second season of Mushoku Tensei is therefore scheduled to celebrate its Japanese TV premiere in the course of 2023. Crunchyroll also announced that the sequel has already been licensed and will be shown in a simulcast in this country. However, an exact start date is still pending.

Mushoku Tensei adapts the light novel of the same name by author Rifujin na Magonote and illustrator Shirotaka and was produced under the direction of Manabu Okamoto at the newly founded Studio Bind. The Isekai anime comprises a total of 23 episodes, divided into two courses, which are available in Germany on Wakanim and on Crunchyroll with German and Japanese voice overs.

A 34-year-old, reclusive and unemployed bachelor is run over by a truck shortly after the death of his parents and the eviction of his childhood home. However, when he wakes up in the body of a baby and realizes that he is in a mysterious world full of sword fights and magic, he can hardly believe his eyes. Rudeus, as he is now called, vows to see his new life as a second chance. He makes friends and gets to know all kinds of people, experiences unimaginable adventures and unrelenting battles.
