In the latest newsletter, Crunchyroll (formerly KAZÉ Anime) announced that the 13-episode anime series The God of High School (cor. Gat Obeu Hai Seukul ) is getting a home video release soon. However, the Berlin anime label has not yet revealed any further details.

The God of High School is based on the South Korean manhwa by author Yongje Park, which was produced by studio MAPPA. Sunghoo Park served as director, while Kiyoko Yoshimura wrote the screenplay, Manabu Akita contributed character design, and Alisa Okehazama composed the music. The broadcast took place between July and September 2020 with a total of 13 episodes in Japan and South Korea.

The streaming provider Crunchyroll, which was also part of the production committee, showed the Fighting Shounen anime in the same period as Crunchyroll Original with German subtitles in simulcast.

Yongje Park's Manhwa The God of High School started on WEBTOON in April 2011 before being published as a print edition in January 2017. The series is not yet available in this country.
