June 26, 2022

As Crunchyroll (formerly KAZÉ Anime) announced in the newsletter today, the Berlin-based anime label will soon be releasing the 13-part dark fantasy anime Noblesse on disc. However, further details on the planned home video release are not yet available.

Noblesse comprises a total of 13 episodes directed by Shunsuke Tada and Yasutaka Yamamoto at Studio Production IG. From October to December 2020, the anime series ran on Japanese TV and on Crunchyroll, which was involved as a co-producer in the anime adaptation, in the original Japanese sound with German subtitles in simulcast. A German language version is also available from the streaming provider on demand.

The dark fantasy anime is based on the webtoon of the same name by author Son Je-ho and illustrator Lee Kwangsu, which was published on the WEBTOON platform between December 2007 and January 2019.
