KAZÉ reveals disc date of third »My Hero Academia« movie

In just a few weeks, the third My Hero Academia film will be coming to local cinemas as part of Crunchyroll Anime Night 2022 . Before that happens, KAZÈ Anime has now announced when it will be available on disc.

My Hero Academia – Movie 3: World Heroes' Mission is expected to be released on October 20, 2022 in four different versions. In addition to a standard edition on Blu-ray and DVD, there will also be a limited Steelbook edition in a DVD and a Blu-ray version. Whether and which extras await all buyers is still pending. A pre-order is also not yet possible.

My Hero Academia – Movie 3: World Heroes' Mission will be available in participating cinemas in Germany and Austria on June 28, 2022 in the original subtitles and with German dubbing. You can find more information about the participating cinemas and the anime film on the KAZÉ Anime website .

Like the TV series and the first two movies, the third film was made by Kenji Nagasaki at the BONES studio. Kohei Horikoshi, the series creator, served again as chief supervisor and original character designer. In Japan, the latest film from My Hero Academia quickly became the highest-grossing film in the franchise.

This is what My Hero Academia – Movie 3 is about:

The heroes are needed! A city is devastated by the release of poison gas that is causing people's abilities to spiral out of control. Behind it is a terrorist cult that wants to destroy all people with innate specialties – all over the world! The heroes split up across the globe to capture the leader. Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto are part of the Endeavor team that travels to the European nation of Otheon. Unfortunately, saving the world is not that easy – especially when you suddenly have to flee from the Otheon police!
