Although there are still a few weeks left until the start of this year's summer season, AniMoon Publishing has already announced a new license for the upcoming anime series Vermeil in Gold (Jap. Kinsou no Vermeil ), which is particularly interesting for Ecchi fans.

Vermeil in Gold should therefore run in July 2022 on a still unknown streaming platform in the original version with German subtitles in simulcast. However, AniMoon wants to announce promptly where the new fantasy ecchi anime can be followed.

The anime series, based on Kouta Amana's manga series of the same name, is being adapted at Staple Entertainment studio under the direction of director Takashi Naoya. Tatsuya Takahashi will write the script, while Kiyoshi Tateishi will design the characters and serve as chief animation director. In Japan, Vermeil in Gold celebrates its TV premiere on July 5, 2022.

So far, the original manga has six volumes, which Square Enix has been publishing in Japan since August 2018. In this country, the series is not yet available in German.

This is what Vermeil in Gold is all about:

Alto Goldfield is a student at a magic academy who aspires to become a master of magic. However, when he is about to fail a conjuration magic class and in danger of having to repeat a year, he finds an old conjuration grimoire. Following his instructions, he writes a magic circle and eventually summons a powerful demon named Vermeil, who was sealed long ago, and makes her his familiar. However, from time to time, the lush vermeil needs magical energy from Alto, which she demands with a heartfelt kiss.
