»Dororo«: action anime as German TV premiere on ProSieben MAXX

In July, the Anime Night on ProSieben MAXX will be expanded with a new anime series! As the free TV broadcaster recently announced, the 24-part anime Dororo is celebrating its German TV premiere this summer.
The action anime Dororo will be broadcast every Friday at around 10:15 p.m. on ProSieben MAXX with German dubbing from July 1, 2022. Immediately after the broadcast, the respective episodes are available for a short time free of charge in the media library .
Dororo ran on Japanese TV between January and June 2019 for a total of 24 episodes. The meanwhile second anime adaptation, which is based on the manga of the same name by Osamu Tezuka, was created in the MAPPA studio in cooperation with Tezuka Productions. Kazuhiro Furuhashi served as director, while Yasuko Kobayashi wrote the screenplay.
In this country, AniMoon Publishing released Dororo with German and Japanese voice output as a Limited Mediabook Edition on DVD and Blu-ray . The full anime series is available on-demand on Prime Video .

This is what Dororo is about:
An orphan named Dororo, who uses various scams to make ends meet, while escaping from a bunch of crooks, meets a young man in ragged clothes, wearing a mask and prosthetic limbs in place of his limbs. When a mud-covered demon suddenly rises from a nearby river and devours Dororo's pursuers, the masked man defeats the creature with apparent ease despite his handicap . Amazed by the stranger's abilities, Dororo decides to accompany him on his journey…
