Rent-a-Girlfriend season 2 release date revealed

Fans have been waiting for this for a long time and soon the time has come: Rent-a-Girlfriend is entering the second round! Surprisingly, a clip of Chizuru was released over the weekend, posing on the new season 2 visual today and revealing the final launch date. You can check out both the visual and the character trailer below.
As a result, the second season of Rent-a-Girlfriend will premiere on Japanese TV on July 1, 2022.
Like the first season, the sequel is again being produced by Studio TMS Entertainment in cooperation with Studio Comet and directed by Kazuomi Koga. While Mitsutaka Hirota is in charge of the script, Kanna Hirayama is in charge of character design. The music is composed by Hyadain. The well-known dubbing actors from the first season are also back on board.
Rent-a-Girlfriend ran 12 episodes on Japanese television and simulcast on Crunchyroll from July to September 2020, which are still available on-demand on the VoD platform with German subtitles. In addition , we already reported that a German-language disc release by KAZÉ Anime with volume one is planned for July 21, 2022.
The original manga series by Reiji Miyajima has been published by Carlsen Manga in Germany since February 2020.

This is what Rent-a-Girlfriend is all about:
Kazuya is in seventh heaven, having a totally sweet girlfriend at his side. But the joy does not last long, because she breaks up with him after a short time. To heal his broken heart and not further fuel the tissue industry, he tries out the new online app that lets you temporarily hire girls as girlfriends. The date with Chizuru also goes wonderfully, she is courteous, personable, beautiful, a true angel!
