How to improve the speed of Internet access on your Xiaomi

To improve the speed of Internet access on our Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO we must first activate the WiFi Assistant and then make other secondary settings . To do this we will follow these steps:

• Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Assistant
• After activating the WiFi Assistant, we proceed to activate the Extreme Mode so that it prioritizes the application that we are using compared to the rest of the apps in the system.

Once these changes have been applied, we will proceed to deactivate various MIUI settings that usually cause some interference with the WiFi connection. For this we will continue as follows:

• Go to Settings and search for « Search «
• After that we will enter the option called Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Search
• Once inside we will deactivate the option Search for Bluetooth devices

Finally, we will proceed to deactivate another MIUI setting that can create conflicts and therefore reduce the speed of Internet access:

• Go to Settings > WiFi > Wi-Fi Assistant
• Once inside we will deactivate the option Select the best networks automatically
