Before the long-awaited home video release of Vinland Saga starts next week on KAZÉ Anime, the Berlin-based anime label released another synchro clip introducing Nico Sablik as the German voice of Thorfinn. You can find the clip below this post.
Vinland Saga will be released in Germany in four volumes as a digipak in a slipcase on DVD and Blu-ray. The first volume with the first six episodes in German and Japanese is expected to be available from April 7, 2022 and contains a slipcase, a 24-page booklet, a poster, a standee, a button, stickers as well as the clean opening and – Ending as an extra.
According to current planning, the second volume with episodes 7 to 12 will follow on May 5, 2022, before volume three with episodes 13 to 18 will be available on June 2, 2022. Finally, on July 7, 2022, KAZÉ Anime will release the fourth and final volume with the remaining episodes. A 24-page booklet, poster and sticker are listed as extras.
Based on the manga of the same name by Makoto Yukimura, Vinland Saga was created at WIT STUDIO under the direction of director Shuhei Yabuta and ran on Japanese TV between July and December 2019. In Germany, Amazon Prime Video has already shown the 24-part anime as a simulcast, while the Carlsen Manga publishing house has been publishing the manga series for some time (order here on Amazon).

This is what Vinland Saga is about:
It's the end of the millennium. The people of the extremely strong, boundlessly cruel Vikings appear everywhere. Thorfinn, son of the strongest of their warriors, whose life has been spent on the battlefield since he was a child, is drawn to the fabled continent of Vinland. This is the saga of a true warrior in an age of great upheaval.
