Documentary about LiSA will be released in autumn 2022 on Netflix

One of the most famous singers in Japan is without a doubt LiSA , who has already contributed songs to various major anime franchises. Now Netflix has announced that it will add a documentary about the singer to its catalog this fall.

The documentary LiSA Another Great Day is Netflix's first documentary about a Japanese solo artist and is being produced as part of the 10th anniversary of LiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiSA , giving a closer look at the singer's life and work. Netflix will release the original documentary worldwide in fall 2022. It was directed by TV producer and documentary film director Takatoshi Sado.

LiSA began her career in 2010 with the anime series Angel Beats! , in which she was part of the in-story band Girls Dead Monster. In spring 2011 she made her professional solo debut with the album Letters to U. Since then she has been the interpreter of songs from numerous series such as Sword Art Online , My Hero Academia or Fate/Zero . More recently, LiSA sang the theme songs for Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and the first Sword Art Online: Progressive film.

This documentary explores the real face of LiSA, a popular Japanese singer known in Japan and abroad for her numerous hits like the theme song of Demon Slayer .

Since LiSA was always very humble but also indomitable, she was confronted with different realities and made many mistakes in life. Later, the little girl, who started a band because of her admiration for Avril Lavigne, becomes one of Japan's leading female artists, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2021. With the help of her team, she devoted herself to the production of the artist LiSA and successfully realized her dream of becoming a rock singer. What dreams will you and your team pursue next?

In this documentary we follow LiSA's journey through the ups and downs of her life as she moves into this new phase represented by her 10th anniversary project. We explore the true colors of LiSA as she makes music, performs and tries to make every new day another great day.
