Netflix Reveals Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 Simulcast Date

At the beginning of March we reported that the anime adaptation of Komi Can't Communicate is getting a second season, which will start on Japanese TV in the upcoming spring season. But when will the sequel be available on Netflix? The streaming giant recently revealed the start date.
The second season of Komi Can't Communicate will run worldwide outside of Japan from April 27, 2022 in the original Japanese language with German subtitles on Netflix as a simulcast. The OLM studio is once again responsible for the production, with Kazuki Kawagoe directing. Deko Akao will serve as the screenwriter, while character design will be provided by Atsuko Nakajima and the music for the series will be provided by Yukari Hashimoto. In Japan, the TV broadcast will start on April 6, 2022.
Komi Can't Communicate is based on the manga series of the same name by Tomohito Oda, which has been published in Japan since 2016. So far, the series has 24 volumes in Japan and is distributed in Germany by TOKYOPOP in German. The twelve-part first season ran in the fall season 2021 on Japanese television and on Netflix as a simulcast.
