»How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ω«: KAZÉ Anime Licenses Second Season

The sequel won't be long in coming! After KAZÉ Anime released the last volume of the first season of How Not To Summon A Demon Lord just a few days ago, the licensing of the ten-part second season was announced today.
According to today's newsletter, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ω is expected to be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this year. More specific details about the disc release of the second season are still pending and will follow at a later date.
The studios Tezuka Productions and Okuruto Noboru were responsible for the production of the second season, which ran on Japanese TV with ten episodes between April and June 2021, with Satoshi Kuwabara taking over as director. The screenplay was written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Crunchyroll showed the sequel with German subtitles in the simulcast, where all episodes are still available.
KAZÉ Anime has now released the twelve-part first season of How Not To Summon A Demon Lord in three volumes as a digipak in a slipcase on DVD and Blu-ray .

This is what How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is about:
Takuma is an old-school nerd: extremely good at gaming, total sucker at social interaction. One day he falls asleep while playing his favorite MMORPG and suddenly wakes up in its world Cross Reverie in the form of his avatar Diablo. A catgirl and an elf are fighting over who has the right to him now. For both claim to have summoned him to make him their slave. However, the plan backfires due to Diablo's magic and the two pretty girls become his slaves! Since Takuma has no idea how to behave in this situation, he simply slips into the role of Diablo mentally and acts according to his nickname "Demon King". With the two girls in his luggage, he now has to find out what's going on and how to solve this slave contract – and of course not without first getting to know them better and experiencing his adventures in Cross Reverie!
