Aqara , one of Xiaomi's main collaborators in terms of home products, has launched a new smoke detector , which not only has support for Xiaomi Home , but is also capable of offering autonomy of up to 10 years .

We are talking about the new Aqara Smoke Alarm Photoelectric , a small device that we can place in each room of our home or office and that is capable of alerting us to our smartphone or activating other devices after detecting a high concentration of smoke.

In detail, the new Aqara Smoke Alarm Photoelectric is presented with a minimalist design and in a round format , which undoubtedly reminds us of the products developed and manufactured by Xiaomi for the home.

Among the features of this we find a high sensitivity sensor, as well as a high power alarm , which will be activated automatically after detecting a high level of smoke concentration in the environment.

In addition, it has support for the Zigbee 3.0 protocol, making it compatible with Xiaomi Home and Apple's HomeKit platform. In this way we will not only be able to configure and link it to other Aqara devices, but also to all those Xiaomi products that accept automations from other devices.
