Well, this is called Light Painting or Light Painting and the best thing is that the camera of your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO hides an automatic mode with which to do it.

As we will see below, from the MIUI camera settings we can enter a mode called Illuminated Painting , which automatically adjusts the camera parameters such as ISO or exposure time, so that we can make creative paintings with light.

Of course, getting to make the drawing or text you are looking for may require a large number of attempts . But calm down, using a tripod, your imagination and a little patience , you will achieve incredible and creative photographs.

So you can paint with light using your Xiaomi

To access the Illuminated Painting mode of your Xiaomi, you only have to perform these steps:

1. Access the camera and then go to the « More » section
2. After that, it will be enough to enter the « Long exposure » mode and then activate the « Illuminated painting « option.

Once this mode is activated, we will only have to start the recording and start drawing in front of the camera , that is, using a light source such as a flashlight, a flash from another mobile, etc. Also, if your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO does not have this automatic mode, you can also adjust it manually using these values :

• From the « Pro » mode of the camera of your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO adjust these values:
  • ISO : 50
  • Exposure time : The highest possible and that in turn gives you time to paint
