
Not just for fans: Samsung Galaxy S21 FE officially presented
After months of rumors, Samsung has finally officially presented the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition). The slightly stripped-down version of the flagship is delivered directly with Android 12.
As Samsung explained in a press release at CES 2022, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be launched in four fresh color options: Olive, Lavender, White and Graphite. The smartphone is factory-equipped with Android 12 and the Samsung user interface One UI 4.
With a flagship chip and 120 Hertz
There are no surprises with the technical data, the specs of the Galaxy S21 FE were leaked on the net long before the official launch. The 6.4-inch AMOLED display offers FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz, the 2021 flagship chip Snapdragon 888 in the smartphone works as the processor. It is supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM – depending on whether you opt for the 128 GB or 256 GB version.
The 4,500 mAh battery should be fully recharged particularly quickly with a maximum of 25 watts via cable. Other features include 5G , Wi-Fi 6 (WLAN-ax), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, wireless charging and a fingerprint sensor in the display.

Night mode improved compared to its predecessor
The camera setup of the S21 FE 5G is identical to the normal Galaxy S21 : On the back there is a triple camera with 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 12-megapixel wide-angle and 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The night mode settings are said to have been improved again compared to the predecessor Galaxy S20 FE. The 32-megapixel front camera sits in a hole in the display ("punch hole") and, according to the manufacturer, promises "the best selfie experience from Samsung so far", especially for group shots.
Market launch takes place on January 11th
The Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available from January 11 as a 128 GB version from 749 euros (RRP) and as a 256 GB version from 819 euros (RRP).
