When we buy a new smartphone, what really interests us is that it works well in general. Unfortunately, MIUI, like any other layer of customization, has several bugs that we can fix or at least know where they come from, thanks to a way that very few know.
This is Safe Mode , a native Android functionality, which allows us to load only the system itself and the applications that were installed by default in our Xiaomi, that is, only the essential applications are started.
Thanks to this mode and MIUI's bug reporting and reporting functionality we can solve practically any problem or at least let Xiaomi know about it . If starting the safe mode a determinable failure persists, it means that it comes from MIUI itself.
In addition, Safe Mode will allow us to rule out failures in our Xiaomi derived from the installation of an application . A very simple but functional utility, which we will explain in detail below.
How to start in the Safe Mode of your Xiaomi
To start Safe Mode on your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, all you have to do is perform the following steps:
- Turn off our smartphone completely.
- Turn it on normally and when the MIUI logo appears, press and hold the volume down button until the system starts up completely.
In this way, if we start Safe Mode, our Xiaomi will start with the essential applications and it will also indicate it in the lower left part of the screen . Likewise, if we want to exit this way, it will be enough to restart the terminal.
