The next version 12.5 of MIUI brings with it some news. One of these is its new security section that you can now access from the Settings list. A totally independent space from the security application.

As we can see lines below, the new security section of MIUI 12.5 will have all kinds of settings , among which are: Lock screen, Find device, Emergency calls, Troubleshoot, Security scan, Block list, Secure keyboard and Website verification.

It also includes other attention-grabbing settings. These are: MIUI Warning Center, Family Guard, Earthquake Warning, Fake Base Stations, and Paid Security.

In the same way, at the bottom of the screen you can see the Privacy Protection section, which you can choose whether to keep it active or not . Also, two more sections appear; one about Additional Settings , and one that is simply called Security .

However, it should be noted that this new security section is only enabled in the MIUI 12.5 Closed Beta for the China ROM . Therefore, users with global ROMs will have to wait a little longer to enjoy this new option.
