In mid-2020, the Redmi Note 9 Pro became the first Xiaomi MIUI smartphone to be recommended by Google Android Enterprise. Now, almost a year later, the catalog of mobile devices recommended by Google is expanded with up to three different models .
The Android Enterprise is a certification given by Google in which all those smartphones suitable and recommended for business use are collected, that is, all those that following certain evaluation criteria are ideal for use as work mobiles.
On this occasion, Google has cataloged the Redmi 9T , Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10S as Android Enterprise devices. All these under the Redmi brand and not Mi as we could come to expect if we take into account the evaluation criteria.
And, in order to be classified as recommended devices for business use, Google takes into account their maintenance and software support . In addition, safety is also important, taking into account the following conditions:
- Security updates must arrive within 90 days of being released by Google.
- At least they will receive updates for the first three years after launch.
In this way, Xiaomi already has up to 12 different devices cataloged as Android Enterprise. Among these we find the Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T Lite, Xiaomi Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite and Mi A3, now joining the Redmi 9T, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10S.
