
Reset Samsung TV: How to reset it to factory settings

Reset Samsung T series (2020), R / Q series (2019)
- Press the home button on your remote control and select the gear icon to switch to the settings.
- Select: "General> Reset".
- Enter your security PIN, the default is "0000" .
- Confirm the subsequent security question with "Yes" to reset the Samsung TV.
Reset Samsung N / Q series (2018), M / Q series (2017) and K series (2016)
- Press the home button on your remote control and select the gear icon to switch to the settings.
- Now select: "Support> Self-diagnosis> Reset".
- Now enter your security PIN, by default this is "0000".
- Confirm the subsequent security question with "Yes" to reset the Samsung TV.
Reset Samsung E- (2012), F- (2013), H- (2014) or J-series (2015)
- Open the menu on your Samsung TV.
- Now select: "Support> Self-diagnosis> Reset".
- Now enter your security PIN, by default this is "0000".
- Confirm the subsequent security question with "Yes" to reset the Samsung TV.
Reset Samsung C- (2010) or D-series (2011)
- Press the exit button on your Samsung TV for about ten seconds while it is in operation.
- Now a window opens with a security question that you just have to confirm.
- If your Samsung TV does not respond to inputs from the remote control while it is being reset, you have to use the buttons directly on the TV. You can find this on the right front side directly on the device.
