Smartphones have become our greatest companion in life. Throughout the day we spend many hours glued to the screen of this, either surfing the internet, browsing social networks or taking a vice to our favorite game.
Unfortunately, that we spend so many hours glued to our smartphone also has its negative consequences. The blue light that the screen emits or simply the excess light that our eyes capture in low-light environments , can be quite harmful to our health to hide.
In view of this, Xiaomi has integrated the Reading Mode into its smartphones, one more option that allows us to protect our eyes, either by reducing the amount of blue light or avoiding what is known as visual fatigue .
What is MIUI's Read Mode?
To do this, what this mode does is change the colors and texture of the screen automatically. In this way, adapting to the light of our environment, we get our eyes to relax and capture less light, avoiding eye fatigue.
In addition, the Reading Mode can greatly help us to fall asleep . It is proven that using our smartphone in bed, just before going to sleep, makes our rest of a worse quality, favoring the appearance of sleep disorders.
Directly, the Reading Mode that Xiaomi has integrated into its smartphones allows us to avoid the negative effects that screens produce on our eyes . By reducing blue light and avoiding eye strain, this mode will improve our eye health.
How to activate the Reading Mode in a Xiaomi with MIUI
If we want to activate the Reading Mode in our Xiaomi in order to protect our health, hide and reduce the amount of blue light, we will only have to perform the following steps:
