LG Gram 2021: LG introduces new ultrabooks with long battery life

LG presented five new laptops from the particularly slim LG Gram series at CES 2021. All models are equipped with the new 11th generation Intel Core processors and should score with a very long battery life.

These are models with screen sizes between 14 and 17 inches. The LG Gram 2021 scores with a refreshed design with narrow bezels and a 16:10 aspect ratio, which was only reserved for the 17-inch model in the previous year. The laptops score with a chic look and good performance. This emerges from a press release from LG.

Under the hood, the 11th generation of Intel Core processors ensure a smooth pace, supported by up to 16 GB of RAM. The Iris Xe, which is built into all devices, serves as the graphics unit. The LG Gram series 2021 is waiting with certification for Intel Evo, with which only notebooks are marked that meet certain key and framework data with regard to performance, fast charging and long battery life. All units have an 80 Wh battery and achieve a maximum battery life of 19.5 hours.

Predestined for mobile working

Not only the very long battery life ensures that the LG Gram models are particularly suitable for use on the move – the low weight also makes a significant contribution. The largest model weighs around 1.3 kilograms, while the smallest weighs just 999 grams. All notebooks have a fingerprint sensor and are equipped on the connection side with USB 4 Gen3x2, USB 3.2 Gen2x1, HDMI and a microSD slot.

LG has not yet commented on prices, releases and availability. This may be made up for in the virtual conference at CES 2021 on January 11th.
