Although just a few days ago the controversy arose around Apple's decision not to offer a charger next to each iPhone, Xiaomi seems to have made the same decision but only in order to reduce its environmental impact .
This has been announced by the firm itself through Twitter, ensuring that it will reduce the plastic used in its packaging by 60% with regard to products sold in Europe.
The first smartphone to take advantage of this new measure will be the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite , which, while maintaining its charger, will thus reduce 60% of the plastics used to hold and house the various accessories inside the box.

In addition, with this, Xiaomi once again winks at the controversial decision by Apple, showing that it can contribute to the environment without the need to tease its followers by removing the charger from inside the box of their smartphones .
Hopefully this new measure is not only initiated by Xiaomi, but also by other manufacturers, thus contributing their grain of sand to achieve a more sustainable world without having to negatively affect the final consumer.
