Besides the remakes of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" and "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2", "THPS 1 + 2" offers a lot of additional content. There is a skatepark editor, you can dress your skaters in the skate shop and work through an endless list of challenges. You can find all of this in a clear main menu. But where exactly can the skater be swapped? Under the menu item Skater? No. In profile? Neither. And even when choosing the level, there is no way to choose a character. However, the option to switch is right under your nose.

The option is inconspicuously hidden in the Central menu. In addition to his name, the button with which you can change your skater is displayed under your game character. On the PS4 this is the triangle button , on the Xbox One the Y button and on the PC the Ctrl key when you play with the keyboard.

After pressing the respective button, you can choose from 21 professional skaters plus two secret characters. In addition, four figures that you can create yourself. However, you cannot distribute skill points or change outfits in this menu, you have to go to the "Skater" menu item. A little complicated, but now you know.
