Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs Huawei P40 Pro: TechZG tests its cameras

In the last year TechZG has become one of the reference channels on YouTube, making extensive comparisons between smartphones in a truly objective way and that helps us know what the difference and quality of each terminal is.

On this occasion, the renowned youtuber brings us the comparison between the cameras of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro , checking not only its photographic quality but also that of its quality when recording video.

To place ourselves in this comparison, remember that both the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and the Huawei P40 Pro have a total of four cameras presided over by a 108MP Samsung sensor in the case of the Xiaomi flagship and a 50MP RYYB sensor (Leica) in the case of Huawei, both with optical stabilizer (OIS).

In detail, the cameras of both devices are:

  • Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
    • Main: 108MP, f / 1.69, OIS, 8P
    • Wide angle: 20MP, f / 2.0m 123º
    • Short telephoto: 12MP, f / 2.0
    • Long telephoto: 8MP, f / 2.0, OIS
    • Selfie: 20MP, f / 2.3
    • Focus laser sensor
  • Huawei P40 Pro
    • Main: 50MP, f / 1.9, OIS
    • Wide angle: 40MP, f / 1.8
    • Telephoto: 12MP, OIS
    • Sensor Depth: ToF 3D
    • Selfie: 32MP, f / 2.2
    • Focus laser sensor

As we can see, both in the video and in its characteristics, both terminals show quite similarities, highlighting in our view the Huawei P40 Pro as far as photography is concerned and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro in video quality.

As a result, each terminal interprets the colors and luminosity of its photographs in one way or another . Of course, there is no doubt that Huawei has been a leader in mobile photography for a long time and that is evident in its software and in the way it treats photographs.

And you, what results do you like the most, Huawei P40 Pro or Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro?
