In order to contribute to the management of the health emergency declared in Spain by the epidemiological spread of the COVID-19 virus, Xiaomi has made a second donation of health protection material.

Specifically, the donation includes 15,000 FFP3 masks , the maximum protection standard and 100,000 surgical masks for the Ministry of Health. These are joined by another 15,000 other FFP3 masks for the Ministry of the Interior.

With this gesture, Xiaomi offers its support to the Spanish authorities in the fight to contain the spread of the coronavirus through Spanish territory and which joins the first donation of several thousand masks that Xiaomi already delivered a few days ago to the Ministry of Health.

In addition, Xiaomi has also made other donations to Italy, France, Germany, Ukraine and Poland, as well as Malaysia, Japan and South Korea, among other countries. In the context of the current health crisis, Xiaomi estimates to donate around 1 million face masks to all of Europe .

We are honored to be able to offer our support to the competent Spanish authorities, that is why we have wanted to contribute this donation to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior, to help protect those who these days are striving to protect all those affected by this threat"
