To everyone's surprise Redmi has presented in Indonesia its new Redmi 8A Pro , a variant of the Redmi 8A Dual presented in India a little over a month ago and which as a great novelty brings with it a double rear camera.

The Redmi entry range continues to be the protagonist in many countries. And it is that, beyond being slow terminals and with a low construction quality, the Redmi A range offers us an interesting option for all those who only need a terminal with which to perform basic tasks .

Redmi 8A Pro: 5,000mAh and dual rear camera

Redmi 8A Pro has been presented as an alternative to the Redmi 8A with two rear cameras. It has a 6.22-inch screen with HD + resolution (1,440 × 720 pixels), a notch in the shape of a drop of water and a rounded 2.5D format.

Inside we find a Snapdragon 439 8-core processor, whose GPU is an Adreno 505. In combination it offers us two variants of 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of storage or 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Its capacity can be expanded by means of a microSD of up to 512GB.

Its main change against the Redmi 8A can be found in the photographic section. This time, the Redmi 8A Pro goes from 12MP to 13MP . Plus, it adds a 2MP secondary sensor for depth reading. On its front and housed in the notch in the form of a drop of water it has an 8MP selfie camera .

From the rest, we are facing a terminal with P2i anti-splash coating , Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, audio jack and FM radio. Its built-in system is MIUI 11 based on Android 9. Finally, its battery reaches 5,000mAh , with support for fast charging of 18W .

Price and availability

The new Redmi 8A Pro will only be available for now in Indonesia and in a total of three color variants: gray, blue and white. Its price, depending on the capacity variant is:

• Redmi 8A Dual 2 / 32GB : 1,549,000 Indonesian rupiahs, € 85 in exchange.
• Redmi 8A Dual 3 / 32GB : 1,649,000 Indonesian rupiahs, 90 euros to change.
