New design with perforated camera
As we can see under these lines, the front of the Redmi K30 will take a rather peculiar design that reminds us of the same design of the Samsung Galaxy S10. With this, this new generation would leave aside the criticized notchs, with a double selfie camera embedded in a 6.67-inch screen , a priori but unconfirmed, Super LCD type.

Inside the Redmi K30, at least in the standard version, we will find a new Snapdragon 765 G. A 7nm processor presented just a few days ago that combines advanced features inherited from the new Snapdragon 865 but without exceeding the medium-high range.
Specifically, this processor has eight Kryo 475 2.4GHz cores and an Adreno 620 GPU capable of providing 20% more performance in relation to the Snapdragon 765. It also allows up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 memories and a display of up to 120Hz at FHD + resolution along with HDR10 and HDR10 +.
As a great novelty, this processor includes 5G NSA / SA support thanks to its fully integrated Snapdragon X52 modem. In this way and as it has been confirmed, the Redmi K30 will carry with it this type of connectivity that is gradually entering into the main European cities.
Photographic section: premiering the SONY IMX686
The new Redmi K30 will make a great evolutionary leap in terms of photography. For this, the firm has opted for a total of 6 cameras divided into four later and two of the selfie type . In this way, not only one more camera is added in its rear set, but also a secondary selfie camera is added in order to improve the portrait effect.
Specifically, the Redmi K30 will be in charge of releasing the new SONY IMX686 , a new 1.7 ″ photographic sensor capable of capturing images at a resolution of 64MP with a pixel size of 1.6μ . In addition, a wide angle of 120º vision , a telephoto lens with depth reading and a macro lens capable of focusing at 2cm distance will be incorporated.
On its front, Redmi has chosen to integrate a DUAL camera formed by a 20MP main sensor supported by the Xiaomi Artificial Smart. In addition, a second sensor is added for depth reading and with which we can obtain selfies in portrait mode with greater precision.
Undoubtedly, a great advance in terms of photography is concerned, integrating again a 64MP sensor but unlike the Redmi K20, manufactured by SONY.
Battery and various variants
In addition to all the above features, the Xiaomi sub-brand has wanted to reveal the battery capacity of the Redmi K30. In this case we are facing a terminal with a spectacular battery of no less than 4,500mAh equipped with a 30W fast charge .
With this, this new generation increases the battery that we already found in the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro by 500mAh, going from the 18W fast charge we find in the standard model or the 27W of the K20 Pro, to 30W.
This is coupled with the inclusion of a Dual Band GPS capable of obtaining a better position in large cities where buildings and tunnels interfere, as well as in remote mountain locations. The Redmi K30 will also feature 5G MultiLink , a technology capable of combining 5G and WiFi Dual Band (2.4 and 5GHz) networks simultaneously, obtaining better speed and stability.
