
The new Realme XT is now official: the most striking alternative to the expected Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and the new Redmi Note 8
During today's Oppo sub-brand, Realme presented the XT model. A new mid-range or perhaps medium-high smartphone, which could undoubtedly cope with the expected Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite or even the new Redmi Note 8 , not only in specifications but also in price.
In recent months the Realme brand has been very present beyond China, a new brand that is presented as a fairly real alternative to the great quality / price ratio that characterizes Xiaomi. And now, Realme could become the great rival of Xiaomi after the announcement of his landing in Spain that is planned for the end of the year.
Realme XT, the great rival of the mid-range of Xiaomi
This new Realme XT shows us a design very similar to the latest Redmi Note 8 , providing a rear part in 3D curved glass finish, whose effect called “Hyperbola Light Streak” is quite striking.
Inside, the new Realme XT arrives with a Snapdragon 712 of 10nm as a processor accompanied by 4/6 / 8GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage expandable by microSD. To power this hardware, a large 4,000mAh battery is used, capable of fully charging in just 80 minutes thanks to its fast charge called 20W VOOC .
On its front we find a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED type screen with an FHD + resolution of 2,340 × 1,080 pixels. Under it we find a new completely renovated fingerprint sensor capable of detecting our finger and unlocking the terminal in just 334ms .
In the photographic section we find a quad rear camera formed by a main sensor Samsung GW1 of 64MP with aperture of f / 1.8. Of rest, we find a 2MP telephoto lens, an ultra-wide 8MP telephoto lens capable of capturing at an angle of 119º and a novel macro type sensor capable of focusing at a distance of 4cm. On its front we find a photographic sensor located in the notch in the form of a 16MP water drop with f / 2.0 aperture.
As for software, the new Realme XT makes use of ColorOS 6 , a fairly advanced customization layer based on Android 9 Pie. In addition, the company has confirmed that it will be in the first quarter of 2020 when Android 10 arrives at this new device .
Price and availability
This new Realme XT will go on sale next September 16, being available in two color variants: Pearl White and Pearl Blue . Its price in India would be:
- Really XT 4 / 64GB: 15,999 ruapias, about 203 euros .
- Really XT 6 / 64GB: 16,999 rupees, about 215 euros .
- Really XT 8 / 128GB: Rs 18,999, about 241 euros .
In addition, Realme has announced a special model called Realme XT 730G that will incorporate a Snapdragon 730G processor accompanied by a fast 30W VOOC charging. For now its price is unknown and it will not be until mid-December when it makes its appearance.
