During today, Xiaomi announced in India the arrival of the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro. Two of the most awaited smartphones globally where only one of them has been released under the name Xiaomi Mi 9T, but now, to everyone’s surprise is presented an exclusive new version called Redmi K20 Pro Signature Edition.
Manu Jumar Jain CEO of Xiaomi in India, has been responsible for presenting the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro, two smartphones much awaited in that country, which have seen the arrival of a new exclusive version and also limited to 20 units , called Signature Edition. Specifically, this new version is manufactured in pure gold , with a letter K” in which have been embedded diverse diamonds of high quality .
As you can expect, this new exclusive version does not have a suitable price for all pockets, and is that, if we want to do with one of them will have to pay 480,000 rupees or what is the same a few 6,200 euros at change, which would be almost 7,000 U.S. dollars .
No doubt a rather extravagant advertisement, as we have to bear in mind that we are talking about India, a country where its poverty level is still quite high . In addition, the market share for mobile telephony is mainly based on the entry and middle range, so we still don’t understand why Xiaomi has decided to present this new version in India and not in another country.
