To the "Days Gone" release: 7 things you should know before buying

"Days Gone" comes out today and lets you race through the zombie post-apocalypse on a motorbike. You're not sure what to expect in the PS4-exclusive Open World game? We clarify the most important questions in our overview.

1. "Days Gone" is more survival than a zombie shooter

In marketing, Sony put a lot of emphasis on the hordes of zombies called "Freaker" in "Days Gone" who make life difficult in the post-apocalypse. In fact, you will often deal with the beasts, but the focus of the game is much less on balling and more on the art of survival. For example, you must always ensure that your motorcycle has enough petrol to be able to travel at all, and also use ammunition rather sparingly. Overall, "Days Gone" has a rather slow-paced rhythm and, in addition to the struggle for survival, attaches great importance to its history and the relationships of its characters. If you're looking for a wild action killer, you should take that into consideration so as not to be disappointed.
